May the force be with you

So has everyone seen Episode III yet? What'd you think?
I personally thought it was better than I and II, but still not quite on par with the original trilogy. The fight scenes were really nice, but there's just something. . . I don't know what it is (or isn't) that just makes me like the old ones more.

Don't worry I won't think poorly of you if you say that you liked it. . . after all I liked the new batman movie!

I for one really liked Episode III. It is definitely better than I and II. You're right, I'm not sure that it's better than IV, V, or VI. But I'd say it's on an even par with IV. I loved getting all the answers to the big questions, seeing how they tied everything together. Lots of "Aha, so that's why that happens," or why things are that way in the later episodes, etc. types of moments.

I'm really looking forward to seeing Batman Begins! Although it's gonna be weird with Christian Bale, the former Jack from Newsies! ;P

Looks like we're all on the same page here. Questions were answered, but other than that the whole pre-quel triology didn't live up to it's potential.

The main question I was left with was how many people watched Episodes I and II before going to see III at the first midnight showing and then followed it all up with the orginal series?

And speaking of summer movies, I thought Mr. & Mrs. Smith was a fun movie. Anyone else seen it?

And Kingdom of Heaven was a good movie, too.

Can you tell who picked what movie in our household? But luckily, we were both glad we were brought along.

I haven't seen Episode III yet (nor Episode II for that matter)...I think I should go back to IV, V, and VI and start over, so to speak.

But I did see Kingdom of Heaven and thought it was a really good movie. It was a very interesting time period that I haven't heard/read a lot about. I think I'm going to need to see it again to really let it all soak in.
