Ummmm...question (too late, of course, but I've heard rumor that it's the thought that counts). Where does he currently stand on the whole celebrating of birthday's thing...
Yeah, I have no clue. I haven't talked to/corresponded with him in at least 3 years.
while i definitely wouldn't claim to be an expert on this subject (and anyone more "in the know" can definitely correct me on this), i think that mark's not necessarily celebrating birthdays anymore so much as just acknowledging them. but...i'll be sure to pass along the sentiment this weekend, because i think he and his wife are going to be staying at my apartment while they're in town for lisa's wedding, which is sunday! eek! we're growing up so fast! ;) also, i'm going to try to get mark involved in our blog, if possible. i'll ask what he thinks. i hope that's ok with everyone and that i'm not stepping on our "blog administrator"'s toes with my informal invite...
Wow, Lisa's wedding. It sounds like it's going to be a little mini-reunion down there. I was just visiting with Amanda Beaver tonight (who is living in the Twin Cities again while she completes her dietetics internship and official registration) and she is headed down your way for the wedding as well.
That would be great to get Mark involved in the blog. Maybe he is one of the 4 people Jay invited that have yet to join!
I emailed Mark to harass him about having lived a quarter-century. He responded with "yes, i am an old man..." etc. Anyway yes, he's one of the 4 - in fact he asked about the blog, so I re-invited him.
