Here's a song for you

"Oh give me a home, where Jay can roam, and the skies are not obscured by the other apartment buildings..."

Can you guess what significance this has to me?

Here's a clue!

You're the winner, Reb! On the first guess, that is.

I am closing on my house on April 29! You are all invited over for a house party sometime in May...

Congrats! No more landlords or noisy neighbors - at least none that you have to share a wall with! And if you are in fact stealing it instead of buying it, please let me know how you're going to do it. Cause I'd sell the one I have and promptly steal me a new one!!

Nice price! Up here that would get me a 1BR,1BA condo in an OK neighborhood. I'm jealous! :)

Sweet basement, too!

Robert - Well, if I want to get my exercise, I could run when I take my bucket out to the well out back, so, yes, you could say it has running water!

Ginger - Thanks! That's one of the big reasons I wanted to get one! Unfortunately they are going to make me pay for it, so I can't help you out there.

Anne - Yes, all my friends in Chicago are jealous too. There's my answer for why I didn't move to the gi-normous city! And you have hit upon the second reason I wanted this house - the basement is one of my favorite parts!

daniel (as in, my brother... and your brother's friend (he wanted me to put that in (and we both hate double parentheses))) wants to know if you get all those pictures on the fridge and on top of the tv. do they come with the house? also, the basement is cool. according to daniel. real bachelor pad or something. keep the females at bay. anyway, congrats and enjoy!

ps, i watched your brother run the 400 yesterday. woot!

Wow, that was actually TRIPLE parentheses! I'm impressed! You know, I forgot to ask for those pictures in the offer - guess I dropped the ball on that one! I am getting the appliances though, if that is good for anything. Good call on the bachelor pad Daniel! That's exactly what I like about it!

I hope Kyle did well in the 400! Probably better than I ever did, that's for sure. Is Daniel running?? He should be!

uh, yeah, daniel's running. that's why i was at the track meet, actually. i don't just follow your brother around. :) daniel's running 400s too, so that's kinda cute. our brothers run together. but i can one-up that....in knoxville on saturday daniel and timothy ran in the same heat of the 400!! it was so cool. daniel finished about 5 seconds ahead of timothy of course, but he turned around and saw timothy finishing next (they finished 1-2 in their heat) and pointed at him and said "hey, bro!" and gave him a high five when he finished. it was a pretty special moment for big sis at least. oh, and speaking of little brothers, i saw rob sandor in his prom regalia on saturday. daniel went to someone's house for group pictures and rob was there in his all-white tux. good times.

Well that is just precious, isn't it!

Ah, prom. So scary that our little siblings are growing up! Here's a link to some pics my Mom took of Kyle and his date.

I'm a little late in the congratulations, but here they are, anyway.

And now that you're a homeowner, you can sign up for one of the many home makeover-type reality t.v. shows and have it decorated for free!

Your "bachelor pad" basement is just screaming for a neon sign of your choice and perhaps a dart board and foosball table. And you can't forget a print of the poker playing dogs.

Sounds like you'd like to help out Dana! I'm definitely planning on pimpin' out my basement!
