Hey Jake, can I spread the good news?

This message is directed to Jake, but hopefully it will pique everyone else's curiosity for the next day or so. Anyway, Jake, in case you're out there and actually reading this from time to time, I'm going to give you until Friday...or Saturday...well, the next time I log in, let's say...to break your family's good news, and if you don't, then I will! In the meantime, anyone else can offer up guesses, take bets, etc.... could be amusing.

Okay! I finally figured out how to get back into the blog. Kind of pathetic, I know. (I figured this one out myself, Rebecca. But thanks though, I know you would have helped.)

This last Friday night while in Wisconsin, Lisa got engaged! The lucky guy to whom Lisa said yes is Ben Kreyer of Wisconsin (near Baldwin).

The wedding is set for early September during Labor Day weekend probably in Des Moines or Oskaloosa.

They mey this past year at the Feast of Tabernacles in Rapid City, SD.

It wasn't love at first site for Lisa, at least, but Ben was certainly interested. The first night they hung out together on one of the first nights of the Feast, Lisa wanted to push Ben into the pool because he was being so obnoxious and annoying. Later, we found out he had had just a bit too much to drink that night.

Ben is a really nice guy and I like him a lot. It'll be nice and different having a brother for a change. It'll take a while to get used to it also.

Anyway, that the news with Lisa.

I, on the otherhand, landed an internship in LA for the summer and fall and will be moving out there at the end of May until probably late December or Early Januay.

It's with a really good company and is close to Rachelle who I am dating once again.

I suppose that is all the news with me worth mentioning.

That is all great news to hear. Good luck in your internship Jake - that's how I got my job! I replaced my boss who hired me for my internship, actually!

Congrats to Lisa! And to Jake for finally getting a brother :) Maybe we'll be hearing similar news from you soon, as well...

Where will Lisa and Ben be living once they get married? I don't think Baldwin is all that far from the eastern edge of the cities.

Who is Elwood? --just kidding. I assume that is your dog.

They have already bought a house in Richland or New Richland (which ever it is) near where Ben's parents live. Ben is going to move in there and when Lisa is done teaching at the end of the school year, she is going to move up and live with his parents until they are married. I think the actually town they love in techinically is Woodville or something like that.

Ben works in and around the Twin Cities area on elevators.

Similar news in my case?...We'll have to see how things go.:)

Holy wedding bells, Batman! All sorts of exciting Wilson family stuff is happening around here! Now I'll really have to send Lisa a long overdue email!

And congrats to Jake on landing an internship, and bonus that it will be near this "Rachelle who I am dating once again."
