So, any chance that any of you lovely, wonderful human beings are going to be pilgrimmaging back to good ol' Osky (or anywhere in Iowa, for that matter)? I'll be there tonight through Saturday morning, and for about 2 days at Christmas...

Subject: Letter from the Home Office in London, UK to the people of America
Hear ye, hear ye! The British have revoked the Declaration of Independence! This is a riot.

Just joining y'all.
BAM! (That's my Emiril impression, how do you like it?)
I'm here. I finally made it. It's been a long and hard trip but all's well that ends well.
I hope that everyone has a great Thanksgiving.

Football
I've never been much of a football fan, but I have to say how happy I am that ISU beat the Huskers last Saturday. Since I'm surrounded by them, it feels especially nice. I've never met a bunch of fans who feel more entitled to win every game, especially against "crappy" teams like ISU (not that we're the best, but c'mon!). Its fun to watch them pout at work and school each time they lose!!
